Who do you obey?

If you are a driver and you came to the stop lights/traffic light and the lights were on red but a police man is waving you to go who yould you obey?I am sure you answer will be the police man though the lights were on red. 

The same thing works for the word of God ,you may read the bible and the Holy Spirt tells you some thing different it's not that God is contradicting his word but it's because you have interpreted it incorrectly ,who do you obey in that circumstance?? 

The Holy Spirit should always be obeyed no matter what you have read because as said before your interpretation most lightly would have been wrong just as you would obey the police office at the traffic lights instead of the red light.
